Advocacy – Our public policy committee keeps us up to date on what is happening both nationally and in Olympia, and organizes our participation in an annual Lobby Day in Olympia. We advocate for new legislation through AAUW’s Two-Minute Activist tool.

Philanthropy – We fundraise to support scholarships at our local colleges and universities, sponsor middle school girls to attend an annual STEM camp (Tech Trek), honor graduating high school senior girls (High School Scholars), and partner with other women’s organizations in our community.

Education – We help facilitate student attendance at two AAUW nationally-recognized pay equity programs (Work Smart/Start Smart), and offer educational programs at our general meetings.

Fun – Our branch focuses on having fun through our interest groups and entertaining speakers and social time at our general meetings.
